Taipei-based designer Winnie Lin, worked in hat industry since 2005, launched herself as a milliner and specialised in making bespoke hats for theaters and private costumers in 2008. Lin won the Gold Medal in China's First International Hat Design Competition in 2013 and established her designer hat label "Winnie Lin Millinery" in 2015. Her hats has been exhibited in London Hat Week since 2016.

Lin enjoys exploring new possibilities and taking challenges in interdisciplinary arts with her millinery skills and her feminine characteristic. She has been dedicated in costume design for theatres since 2011. Her design for Hu Chia Dance theatre was showcased in 《COSTUME AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY 1990-2015》 by OISTAT Costume Design Group in Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum in Moscow.
